Many email boxes in and around the state of Pennsylvania have been getting hit with a "believable" email hoax. The hoax states that beginning on November 10th, 2007, Pennsylvania drivers will be hit with a $50.00 fine for driving and talking on a cell phone. If you have not heard by now, this is a hoax and, in fact, the state legislature does not have an active piece of legislation regarding cell phone usage while driving.
The email can contain one of two attachments. The first is a sample bill that passed through the state representatives. The other is a legislature summary attached as a PDF and resembling the document pictured at
